Most gut health coaches and practitioners focus on just the gut. While this is important, it misses the bigger picture. The human body is an interconnected web, and gut health is influenced by so much more than digestion alone.

🧠 Mental & Emotional Health – Chronic stress, unprocessed emotions, and poor sleep disrupt the gut-brain axis.

My story

I'm Liv

Have you ever felt like your body was working against you? Like no matter what supplement, diet, or “expert” you invested in, the answers never came—and the symptoms just piled on? That was my reality for over a decade. My gut was a wreck, I spent thousands of dollars on holistic doctors, and I felt trapped in a cycle of trial-and-error that never truly gave me healing.

But my struggles led me to my purpose. I became a Functional Nutritionist through Parker University where I received my master's degree, an HTMA Expert Practitioner, completed Functional Nutrition Full Body Systems certification, and trained in Homeopathic Detox Therapy—because I refused to accept that “this is just how it is.”

What I discovered is that true healing doesn’t come from chasing gut protocols or quick fixes. It comes from seeing the body as an interconnected system—minerals, liver, bile flow, adrenals, circadian rhythm, stress, emotions—all of it matters. And when you address the whole, the gut finally has the chance to heal.

Now, I take everything I’ve learned (and everything I wish I had known years ago) and use it to guide others through the same transformation—without the wasted time, money, and heartache.

I turned my pain into my purpose, and I’m here to show you that you can reclaim your health, too.

             My Story

I'm Ryan,
For most of my life, I didn’t realize I was living with anxiety. I thought constant, racing thoughts were just “normal.” It wasn’t until much later that I understood how that nervous undercurrent shaped everything: my energy, my health, and how I showed up in the world.

Things began unraveling in high school. By my senior year I came down with mono and never fully bounced back. What should have been temporary dragged on for more than a year. My energy was gone, my digestion was a mess, and I struggled to keep weight on.
In college, I doubled down on what I thought health was—appearance. I worked out excessively, chasing lean muscle and a “fit” look. Every workout was about sculpting a body that looked strong, not creating a body that was actually strong. I thought being healthy meant looking healthy. But behind the image I was depleted, weak, and sick. Eventually, I was diagnosed with Graves’ disease. At the time I believed it was just genetic, something out of my control, not realizing my lifestyle and stress were fueling the imbalance.

At first, I became obsessed with perfecting the physical side of health. I built strict routines around everything related to diet, workouts, sleep, hydration, supplements—believing that if I just nailed the details, I’d finally feel whole. And in many ways, those habits helped. My body grew stronger, my energy improved, and I began to climb out of the hole I had been in. But I also became a slave to the process. I was rigid, overly controlled, and disconnected from the bigger picture. No matter how optimized my routines were, I still wasn’t crossing the finish line. That’s when I realized the deeper work was in my mentality and emotions. Healing required me to loosen the grip, rewire old patterns, and learn how to support both my body and my mind in balance.

That deeper work is what eventually led me into formal study. At the Chek Institute, I trained as a Holistic Lifestyle Coach (Levels 1 & 2) and Exercise Coach (Level 3). Through the Integrative Health Practitioner program (Levels 1 & 2), I learned to see health as a whole system—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. These teachings helped me integrate the balance I had been missing.

This course is the culmination of that journey. It’s not about perfection or rigid protocols. It’s about principles that last, habits that sustain, and reconnecting to the body’s innate intelligence. My goal is to help you reclaim energy, resilience, and clarity. Just as I had to learn to do myself.
